Neyan Shyam Kangayan; D.O.B: 17th May 2003 is a Tamilnadu born Indian cricketer who currently represents the state of Pondicherry in domestic level cricket. He played for Tamilnadu state team in Under- 14 category tournaments conducted by BCCI. He came to lime light during under-16 national level inter state Vijay Merhant Trophy 2018-19 season conducted by BCCI, when he scored Record Triple century (302 not out) against Goa...
I have been working with Neyan for only a short while, but am in no doubt of his ability and talent.
Neyan is undoubtedly one of the most outstanding Ten year old cricketers that I have seen.
I work with Neyan on an individual basis and he also attends my Winter Academy for High School pupils where he bats and bowls with cricketers quite a lot older than him.
Being only ten, the one area that is foreign to him, and where he struggles is the extra bounce generated by the older and taller bowlers on artificial wickets, but he never complains.
He simply gets on with it and he has started giving me good feedback now, which is another indication of his ability and maturity.
Neyan is also a very talented and accurate seam bowler.
My belief is that Neyan could easily be playing competitive cricket in an under 14 age group and has the ability to go really far in the future if managed properly
